Sends but doesnt download ones sent to you

Really? Come on... Id never heard of this file transfer site - always ace used Google Drive and Dropbox... Got some pictures sent this way and cant download them to my iPhone or iPad without using yet another app. Why does this not include the obvious "downloading half of the equation?"
